A hat trick for Innsworth Chapter

That was the buzz around the Chapter room when E Comp Bill Beedie was summoned by the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent, E Comp Michael Holland, to receive his Certificate of Merit during the Second Rising of the Innsworth Chapter regular March meeting.
Bill, a retired Royal Air Force Wing Commander, was stunned to receive this prestigious award that also came with an inscribed silver tankard. He said ‘I had no idea this was going to happen. All I have tried to do is my best as a Royal Arch Mason’.
This personal award from the Grand Superintendent recognises Bill’s significant contribution to Royal Arch Masonry in the Province of Gloucestershire and Herefordshire, not least his 16 years sterling service as Treasurer of Innsworth Chapter.
Why a hat trick?
Well Bill joins E Comps Dennis Roberts and Fred Wood who were equally honoured in 2015 and 2019 respectively. Currently, Innsworth is the only Chapter in the Province where three of its exaltees are holders of the Grand Superintendent’s Certificate of Merit. Truly a hat trick!
